Nguyen Thanh Binh Fund for Promoting Education, Hanoi University of Industry

Nguyen Thanh Binh Fund for Promoting Education (Nguyen Thanh Binh FPE) was founded in 2003 in order to honor Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, the former member of Political Bureau of Central Committee of Communist Party of Vietnam - Permanent Member of Central Committee - Secretary of Hanoi Municipal Party Committee. As a former HaUI student, he contributed enormously to the development of the university. He called for establishing the fund and was its first donor.

Since 2003, Nguyen Thanh Binh FPE has been operating effectively with the enthusiastic supports of HaUI staffs; lecturers; students and outside donors, especially Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh’s family.

Each year, the number and amount of scholarships increases and provides financial support for students from low-income families or ethnic minorities in remote areas, orphans, disabled students with good performance. Also, the fund is allocated for distinctive students, students awarded in national and international competitions, students with applied research from college level.

Fundraising committee sincerely thanks Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh’s family, HaUI staffs, lecturers and students, outside donors for donating the fund.
