A delegation from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) visited Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic, from 13 to 17 July 2026, as part of the University's efforts to strengthen educational cooperation and expand study opportunities for Lao students.
Artificial intelligence is increasingly transforming biomedical research, creating new opportunities for collaboration across disciplines. Embracing this trend, five students from the English-taught Information Technology program at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) ventured beyond the traditional boundaries of computer science to investigate a biomedical challenge. Their study on deep learning for microbe–drug association prediction has been accepted for publication in Intelligence-Based Medicine, a Scopus Q2 journal.

Students from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) achieved remarkable success at the 36th National Olympiad in Mechanics, earning 29 individual awards, including 1 First Prize, 4 Second Prizes, 14 Third Prizes, and 10 Consolation Prizes, as well as a Second Prize in the Machine Theory team competition.
