Nguyen Thanh Tung and Nguyen Xuan Thai - 2 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) excellently won Silver Medals with CNC Milling and CNC Turning at the 46th World Skills Competition held in Germany.

Dang Thi Huyen Trang, a student of the Faculty of Korean Language, School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, Hanoi University of Industry, has just won the Third Prize at "National Korean Speaking Contest - The First Korean Ambassador Cup".

The 23rd National Physics Olympiad took place at Vinh Long University of Technology Education from April 14 to 17, 2021. HaUI students excellently won 2 First prizes, 3 Second prizes, 1 Third prize and 1 Consolation prize.

On the afternoon of November 27, 2020, Hanoi University of Industry held the Closing Ceremony of the HaUI Mathematics and Physics Olympiad in 2020. 44 out of 368 students won prizes at the competition.

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) won over the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) at SV2020 Northern group stage. SV (stands for Student) is known as one of the television programs that are loved by many students since 1996. The HaUI Robocon contest 2020 took place on the morning of June 18th, 2020. DTO3 team from the Faculty of Electronics Engineering won the first prize after defeating 11 other teams from different faculties.

Research paper topic "Research and application of Internet of Things technology to build an intelligent greenhouse system" by a group of students from the Faculty of Information Technology won the Third prize and was awarded at the Closing Ceremony of Student Science Research 2019. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh Youth Union, Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations on the morning of December 1st, 2019 at the National University of Civil Engineering in Hanoi.

All 18 candidates from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) taking part in the Hanoi Skills Competition 2019 won prizes; including, a First prize, six Second prize, seven Third prize and four Consolation prizes. Six candidates were selected into the national team.
