2 gold medals, 2 silver medals at 11th Asean Skills Competition

Contributing to the outstanding achievements of Vietnam Delegation at 11th Asean Skills Competition, the HaUI students have excellently won 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 Excellent Certificate.

- Chu Manh Truong (Class Mechatronic 3, intake 8) achieved Gold medal in Technical Vocational Mechanical Design (CAD)

- Ninh Thanh Nguyen (Class Electronic 5, intake 8) achieved Gold medal in Electronics skill.

- Tran Dong Kien (Class Fast Track Software Engineering, intake 8) and Dang Thanh Diem (Class Fast Track Electronic intake 8) achieved Silver medal in Internet of Things.

- Nguyen Van Manh (Class Electronic 1, intake 8) achieved outstanding Vocational Certificate in Electronics.

The 11th Asean Skills Competition 2016 which took place from 24th September to 26th September in Malaysia attracted 280 contestants from 9 Asean countries (Brunei did not attend). The test content focused on 25 skills, including 23 official skills and 2 performace skills. Vietnam delegation attended Asean Skills Competition with 44 candidates in 22 official skills.

At the Technical Conference Organizing Committee occuring from 22nd to 29th September, Thailand was elected as the host country of Asean Skills Competition in 2018 and Singapore was elected as the host country of Asean Skills Competition in 2020.
