Bunpimay Festival in HaUI

Bunpimay Festival 2015 was organized at A12 yard with all traditional rituals on April 14.

Dr.Bui Thi Ngan, HaUI Vice President, Mr.Ha Ba Tien, Head of Department of Student Affair, Mr.Tran Ngoc Khanh, Secretary of HaUI Youth Union, Mr.Le Viet Anh, Head of Deparment of International Cooperation, Lecturers and staff of fuctional units, Laotian and Korean students studying at HaUI took part in the festival.

Bunpimay Festival in HaUI

Bupimay, the biggest festival of the laotian, takes place for 3 days: 13^th, 14^th, and 15^th of April (buddhist calendar). On Bupimay, people often splash water on others to send best wishes to them, and to pray for favourable weather, prosperity and a happy new year.

The celebration is organized annually at HaUI, showing the close relation between HaUI and Laotian students in particular and the Vietnamese and Laotian people in general. In spite of studying abroad, the Laotian students still enjoyed their Bunpimay with all traditional rituals and festivities.
