Hanoi University of Industry wins a Silver medal, a Bronze medal and two Certificates of Excellence at the 12th ASEAN Skills Competition 2018.

After ten competition days in Thailand, HaUI’s students won a Silver medal, a Bronze medal and two Certificates of Excellence at the 12th ASEAN Skills Competition.

Attending the ASEAN Skills Competition this year, Hanoi University of Industry had 6 students competing in four skills: Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Automotive Technology and Mechanical Engineering Design (CAD).

As the competition concluded, HaUI team won a Silver medal, a Bronze medal and two Certificates of Excellence. HaUI’s students awarded prizes at the competition were as follows:

- Nguyen Duy Hieu - Silver Medal, Electronics skill

- Nguyen Van Hung - Bronze Medal, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning skill

- Nguyen Duy Hung - Certificate of Excellence, Automotive Technology skill

- Do Long Hoang - Certificate of Excellence, Electronics skill

According to the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (MOLISA), the Vietnamese team participating in the 12th ASEAN Skill Competition ranked third with 7 Gold medals, 7 Silver medals and 6 Bronze medals. In addition, they also gained 16 Certificates of Excellence.
