Meeting with the staffs, lecturers and students participating in the world skills competition in 2017 in the United Arab Emirates

With the purpose of encouraging candidates of world skills competition 2017, at 14:00 the 4^th of October, the board of Hanoi University of Industry held a warm meeting with the staffs, lecturers and students.

University Vice- rector, Assoc. prof. Pham Van Bong, the representatives of the Center for Business Cooperation, specialists, instructors of mechanical engineering and electronics, interpreters and 2 candidates attended the meeting. Ninh Thanh Nguyen and Nguyen Van Tuan, the two candidates, will take part in electronics and CAD respectively in the world skills competition in 2017.

On behalf of the university, Vice- rector Pham Van Bong highly appreciated the enthusiastic guidance of the teachers, technical experts as well as the effort of the contestants during the competition; He also wished the members of the delegation to be healthy, and expressed his hope that the contestants would be confident to achieve the highest results, bringing glory to the university and Viet Nam.

The Vice-rector also emphasized the importance of the competition: "This competition is at international level, so all the candidates need to be of a high degree of organization as well as to comply with all regulations. The participants also have the responsibility to introduce Viet Nam and of Hanoi University of Industry the world. All need to distribute their strength in a proper way as well as have the spirit and the will to play.”

Representatives of the delegation, Mr. Hoang Manh Kha - Vice Dean of Electronics faculty expressed thanks for the leaders of the university, enterprises, and teachers; and promised to achieve the highest score in the competition.

Participants in the meeting exchanged experiences to organize the trip successfully. According to the plan, the delegation will take the world skill test in 2017 from 08^th to 20^th October 2017 in the United Arab Emirates.
