MoU signing ceremony between Hanoi University of Industry and the World Vocational Competency Exchange Association, South Korea (WVCEA)

On September 25th, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a working session and signed a cooperation agreement with the World Vocational Competency Exchange Association, South Korea (WVCEA).

The signing ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Dong - Vice Rector, Dr. Le Viet Anh - Director of the International Cooperation Center, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Director of the Enterprise Partnership Center, and Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung - Director of Letco Company (a subsidiary of HaUI).

On the side of WVCEA, there was the presence of Mr. Seo Jong Wook - Chairman of the Association, Mr. Ryu Seok Hoon - Head of Hanoi branch, and Mr. Bae Jae Gi - Advisor of Hanoi branch.

The World Vocational Competency Exchange Association, South Korea (WVCEA) was established through collaboration among experts from various fields, including education, technology, academia, to address the challenges faced by different vocational sectors.

According to the signed agreement, both parties will engage in activities such as organizing skill exchange competitions and cultural, economic, and educational exchange festivals between the two countries. They will also exchange and develop human resources, as well as explore and develop various areas of collaborative exchange.

At the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong introduced HaUI's strengths in providing high-quality human resources training in fields such as mechanical engineering, electronics, and automotive. He also highlighted the university's expertise in labor export and attractive overseas study and internship programs offered by LETCO Company (a subsidiary of HaUI). He expressed his hope that this will be one of the promising directions for future collaboration that both parties should focus on.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong emphasized: Hanoi University of Industry and WVCEA will strengthen cooperation to build a long-term, sustainable strategy, maximize the potential and strengths of both parties.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome by HaUI, Mr. Seo Jong Wook, Chairman of the Association, shared: We are deeply impressed by the 125-year tradition of Hanoi University of Industry and its current achievements. We hope that in the future, we will have many opportunities for cooperation and exchange with HaUI, building a strong and fruitful relationship for mutual development.
