Preserving and promoting cultural beauty during the Vietnamese Tet holiday took center stage as nearly 100 students from various training units under the Hanoi University of Industry showcased their impeccable handwriting skills in the Talented Handwriting Contest on February 20. The competition, organized by the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, not only celebrated the art of calligraphy but also contributed to the preservation and development of cultural traditions.

On the evening of January 18, the finale of the 2023 "Students Love Korean Language" contest unfolded with an electrifying display of linguistic prowess and cultural passion. Amidst the vibrant atmosphere, the University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi secured the prestigious First Prize.

The contest was launched since the beginning of June 2023, the online preliminary round of the Japanese Language Speech Contest 2023, organized by the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism (SLT), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), has received 29 video entries from colleges, universities, and academies in Hanoi. The organizers have conducted scoring and selected the top 5 outstanding contestants to participate in the eloquence competition in the Contest Finals, which will be held on the afternoon of June 28, 2023.

On the morning of January 10, 2023, the School of Languages and Tourism, Hanoi University of Industry held a preliminary review of the pilot year of establishing the School of Languages and Tourism. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry chaired the Preliminary session.

With the aim of developing an integrated chat dialog (Chatbot) on the Messenger platform to improve the effectiveness of vocabulary learning according to the Boya Chinese curriculum at elementary and intermediate levels for students, the group of students including 05 members have successfully implemented the topic "Application of information technology in developing Chatbot on Facebook's Messenger platform to improve the effectiveness of learning Chinese vocabulary at elementary and intermediate levels".

On the evening of June 24, 2022, the Associated Organ of the Youth Union and Students’ Union of the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism (SLT) organized the art program named Summer Festival, celebrating the success of the 10th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi University of Industry, term 2022 - 2024.
