6 months 23 days, I miss HaUI

The COVID-19 pandemic has made both teachers and students miss the classroom environment. With all the advantages online classes provide, they just don’t have the same appeal as a physical classroom setup. It has been 6 months 23 days that I have been still out of school. Like other students, I miss HaUI so much.

I miss the daily bus to Ha Nam campus

I miss the calm blue lake

I miss the white reeds swaying in the wind in the golden afternoon sun

I miss the football field which is always lit up every weekend, where we can play to our fullest with passion

I miss the whole Ha Nam campus at night

I miss A1 Building on the main campus

The familiar road leading to the Center for International Cooperation which is a corner of heaven in the heart of HaUI

I miss every corner of the schoolyard

Flowers bloom brilliantly in four seasons at the dormitory & canteen

The old way, familiar trees to A10, A11 Building

The rows of shady old trees on campus 2

The rows of freshwater mangrove bloom in the schoolyard

And I miss my friends, we sit and sing together every night

We will still be on online learning because of the complication of the COVID-19 pandemic, but I believe that a peaceful tomorrow is not far away. I hope that this ends so I can go back to HaUI to see my teachers and friends. I miss HaUI.
