Beyond the partnership with PPU, HaUI is also seeking to work closely with the Embassy of the State of Palestine to broaden institutional ties with Palestinian universities and research institutions. The proposed areas of cooperation cover student and faculty mobility, joint research, technology development and transfer, and academic and innovation initiatives.
HaUI is also ready to offer scholarship opportunities to Palestinian students wishing to study at the University. Such opportunities would help deepen educational exchanges between the two countries and create more direct connections among universities, faculty members and students.

H.E. Dr. Shadi Abu Zarqa, Ambassador of the State of Palestine, speaks at the meeting
The discussion also highlighted opportunities for two-way student mobility. H.E. Dr. Shadi Abu Zarqa, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Vietnam, said that Palestine is ready to offer scholarships to Vietnamese students to study in Palestine and explore joint training programs with Vietnamese institutions.
Two-way mobility would give students from both countries opportunities to experience different academic environments, broaden their international exposure and develop closer connections between the two academic communities.

Dr. Mousa Alrefaya, Vice President and Dean of the College of Dual Studies at Palestine Polytechnic University, speaks at the meeting
A key area of common interest between HaUI and PPU is practice-oriented education and university-industry cooperation. Dr. Mousa Alrefaya, Vice President and Dean of the College of Dual Studies at Palestine Polytechnic University, introduced PPU’s dual education model, which combines university-based learning with practical training in private-sector institutions.
Through this model, students gain opportunities to apply what they learn in the classroom and develop practical experience during their studies. The shared focus on connecting academic learning with the workplace provides a basis for the two universities to explore joint research, connect researchers with relevant expertise, and promote student and faculty exchanges and collaborative training programs.
