Empowering students for the global market: HaUI launches 5 new English-taught programs
In response to the growing demand for an internationally competitive workforce, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has announced the integration of five new English-taught programs for the 2026–2027 academic year. This initiative is a central component of the university's broader educational internationalization strategy, designed to equip students with both specialized expertise and cross-cultural proficiencies.
Currently, HaUI offers 15 English-taught programs. Rather than simply translating existing curricula, the university has comprehensively restructured these programs to align with global academic and professional standards. The five newly introduced majors specifically target high-demand sectors across business, finance, and technology, preparing students to integrate into the global supply chain.
Bachelor of Business Administration

In multinational corporations, strategic decisions and project management are predominantly conducted in English. HaUI’s Business Administration program trains emerging executives to thrive in these multicultural environments. With all major modules delivered in English, students engage in corporate case studies, business simulations, and collaborative projects to hone their analytical and decision-making skills. Furthermore, the program facilitates internships at foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises and international startup activities. Graduates are optimally positioned for roles such as business development specialists, project managers, market researchers, and strategic consultants.
Bachelor of Marketing
As the contemporary commercial landscape becomes increasingly borderless, a marketing campaign conceptualized in Vietnam can target consumers globally. This program focuses on equipping students with the ability to analyze international markets and diverse consumer behaviors. The curriculum covers consumer behavior, brand management, and digital marketing entirely in English. Emphasizing practical application, the program features symposia with international experts, corporate tours, and real-world media projects. Graduates are prepared for careers as brand communications specialists, market researchers, and content developers in domestic and global agencies.
Bachelor of Finance and Banking

In the financial sector, investment decisions rely heavily on data analytics and global market forecasting. HaUI’s Finance and Banking program adopts an applied approach, benchmarking its curriculum against top-tier institutions like Monash University (Australia) and the University of Bristol (UK), while integrating Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) standards. The coursework covers corporate finance, risk management, Fintech, and data analytics. Students gain empirical experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software across 10 modern financial simulation laboratories. This rigorous training prepares graduates for high-stakes roles as financial analysts and risk managers at international banks, securities firms, and investment funds.
Bachelor of Information Technology

The tech industry operates within an inherently global ecosystem where multinational teams collaborate using a shared technical language. This program immerses students in core subjects such as programming, data structures, artificial intelligence (AI), and data science. Supported by modern laboratories, a digital library, and smart university infrastructure, students participate in international academic competitions and real-world projects in AI, Big Data, and cybersecurity alongside industry experts. Direct access to original English documentation prepares graduates to seamlessly integrate into multinational tech companies and global outsourcing enterprises.
Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering Technology

Amidst the restructuring of global manufacturing supply chains, Vietnam is emerging as a critical production hub. Modern smart factories require engineers proficient in robotics, sensor networks, and real-time control software. This program trains students in industrial robotics, control systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies through hands-on design and fabrication projects. By mastering these technical competencies in English, graduates are well-equipped to collaborate within multinational engineering cohorts as systems, automation, or robotics engineers in global industrial corporations.
In a globalized economy, selecting an academic discipline is synonymous with choosing a future professional environment. HaUI’s English-taught programs ensure that graduates do not merely adapt to changes but are fully prepared to proactively step into international roles. Ultimately, the true differentiator is not just the chosen field of study, but how exceptionally well students are prepared to advance in their careers.
