Hirayama Corporation Provided Seminar on Basics of Toyota Production System
On 28 March 2012, Mr. Junji Hori, Consultant of Hirayama Corporation provided the introductory seminar on Toyota Production System (TPS) for more than 30 HaUI lecturers.
Based on his long experience in managing various Toyota’s factories including the one in Vinh Phuc, Vietnam, Mr. Hori explained the basics of TPS including the lean production, just-in-time delivery and production, and equalization.He also observed VJC workshops and gave practical advice for kaizen.Utilizing what they learned in the seminar, HaUI will try to strengthen its management system and improve the production management related subjects.In particular, the sub working group members lead by Mr. Viet, Mr. Dung and Mr. Nang will develop the short-term course on quality control.
