Meet and greet session with medical staff in commemoration of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day

In commemoration of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day (27-2), in the afternoon of 27/2/2017, Hanoi University of Industry held a meet and greet session with doctors and medical staff of the university’s infirmary.

Associate Professor - Doctor Tran Duc Quy - Party Secretary and Rector of HaUI addresses to doctors and medical staff of the university infirmary in commemoration of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day.

During the meeting, Doctor Tran Duc Quy - Party Secretary and Rector of HaUI acknowledged achievements by the university infirmary in catering for the healthcare needs of the university staff and students; preventing and fighting epidemic diseases, maintaining food safety, and improving public health, thereby increasing productivity of the university.

The principal highlighted three crucial missions for the infirmary in 2017, on the foundation of the achievement it has accomplished. These missions are: first, advising the university’s boards of management on school healthcare and preventing seasonal diseases; second, advising university’s boards of management on food safety risks, maintaining food hygiene standards within the university; and finally, encouraging each individual infirmary staff member to devote himself/herself wholeheartedly to tending for the health of all university staff and students.

The principal also urged all doctors and medical staff to constantly improve themselves professionally and to do their utmost to tend for the sick, in the spirit of Uncle Ho’s teaching: “A good doctor is like a good mother”.
