National Science Conference on: “Working together with businesses towards sustainable development”

On the morning of September 21^st 2018, at the Conference room on 4^th floor, Building A1, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), the National Science Conference "Working together with Businesses towards Sustainable Development" was held.

Attending the seminar, there were leading keynote speakers in the fields related to sustainable development of enterprises. The conference also received special attention from lecturers, scientists, leading experts in the field of economic management and business management nationwide such as Vietnam State Treasury, R & D Institute of Economics - Social Hanoi (HISEDS), University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University, National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, University of Communications and Transport, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and staffs, lecturers of Hanoi University of Industry.

Overview of the Conference

The conference is aimed to assess the practicality of production and business activities, and analyze opportunities and risks, thereby proposing strategic solutions to help businesses grasp opportunities and actively integrate into the global economy in the Era of Industry 4.0.

Of more than 50 research papers submitted, 30 quality papers were selected to be published on the Proceedings of the National Conference, under two major topics:

1. Business management with the sustainable development of enterprises.

2. Economy, Investment, Finance and Banking with the sustainable development of enterprises.

Discussion in the parallel session

All delegates will update and share information, knowledge and experience on sustainable development as well as good practices and initiatives on sustainable business, measures to promote and enhance the cooperation between universities, enterprises and social organizations towards the successful implementation of sustainable development in Vietnam.

In this event, the authors who are lecturers of Business Management Faculty - HaUI also proposed their ideas including Solutions for training Business and Management under the professional standards of AEC (by Vu Dinh Khoa and associates), Equipping students with a sense of social responsibility and business ethics at university (by Cao Thi Thanh and Le Duc Thuy), and Building HaUI's culture to create foundations for the university’s innovation in education and international integration, fulfilling its mission in the increasingly competitive context.
