Opening Ceremony of the 29th National Mechanics Olympiad

On April, 16th ,2017, Hanoi University of Industry hosted the 29th National Mechanics Olympiad of the North of Vietnam.

Mr. Do Sanh - Vice President of Vietnam Mechanics Association, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang To – Chairman of Organizing Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Secretary of Party Committee, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry together with lecturers and more than 730 excellent students representing universities and academies in the North of Vietnam participated in the ceremony.

This is a useful playground for students who are keen on mechanics, contributing to promoting research and learning movement, improving the quality of teaching and learning mechanics and also fostering and encouraging young talents with passion in mechanics. The National Mechanics Olympiad is annually organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Mechanics Association together with Vietnam National Student Association, in three regions: the North, the Central and the South. The North, Central and South contests of this year are hosted by Hanoi University of Industry, University of PolyTechnology - University of Da Nang, and Tran Dai Nghia University respectively.

In the contest, contestants would compete in these following contents: technical mechanics, material durability, structural mechanics, soil mechanics, hydraulics, machine parts, machine principles, application of Informatics in mechanics - theoretical mechanics, application of informatics in mechanics - machine principles and application of informatics in mechanics - machine details.

Being one of the hosts, Hanoi University of Industry with modern facilities, experienced human resources, committed to meeting all regulations, actively supporting the contestants. The contest would take place from April, 16th, 2017 to May, 20th, 2017.
