On the morning of May 20th, 2017, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the one-month National Mechanics Olympiad 2017 took place in Hanoi University of Industry.

On May 19th 2017, Hanoi University of Industry organized the the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the Student Research Contest. Associate Professor - Doctor Pham Van Bong, the Vice Rector, was present at the ceremony Youth Union representatives together with leaders of several departments, instructors, members of the Science Board and students of the university.

On the afternoon of May 18th, 2017, the final match of “Female Student Football Tournament” 2017 between Faculty of Tourism team and Faculty of Business Management team took place with much excitement, closing the tournament with wonderful goals.

From 09th to 14th of May 2017, at Ninh Binh gymnasium, the final round of Robocon Vietnam 2017 took place with the theme “The landing disc”. NN01 team and DT4 team represented Hanoi University of Industry for this round of the contest.

For nearly one month, the singing contest for students “The Voice HaUI” 2017 has advanced to the final gala. The final gala on the evening of May 11th 2017 brought to audience extraordinary performances.

On the morning of April 25th, 2017, Hanoi University of Industry in association with FLC Group organized the "Scholarship Award for talented students and cooperation agreement signing ceremony between FLC Corporation and Hanoi University of Industry ".

The semi-final matches and final match of Vietnam Robocon 2015 took place in the evening of 17^th May 2015. The HaUI’s team shared the 3^rd award with LH-SHEED from Lac Hong University.

In order to equip students with knowledge and skills to find a suitable position before they graduate, HaUI organized the 2015 course on Job seeking skills on Saturdays and Sundays from April 4 to April 12. The course received the consent and advocacy of HaUI managers and the support of leaders of Faculties, Departments and Fuctional Units.

The three events including the 115^th anniversary of establishment of Hanoi University of Industry, Ho Chi Minh Medal award and New academic year 2013-2014 were organized at the multi-purpose hall, HaUI on November 1^st, 2013.
