Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), recently emphasized the significance of fostering human resources in the Auto Repair and Maintenance Service sector, particularly focusing on working styles and attitudes. This emphasis reflects a broader initiative undertaken by HaUI, GKM Vietnam, and Top Rank, aimed at training high-quality professionals for the automobile repair and maintenance industry in Vietnam and Japan.

On December 27, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Dong, the Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, presided over the Review Conference of the training course "Developing Human Resources for the Automobile Repair and Maintenance Service Industry in Vietnam and Japan."

In a significant stride towards fostering educational-industrial collaboration, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Mazda Corporation came together on August 22, 2023, to solidify their commitment to expanding training cooperation for students in the automotive industry. This strategic partnership seeks to cultivate and nurture exceptional talent in the fields of mechanical engineering, automotive repair, and maintenance.

This is the main content in the meeting and agreement signing ceremony between Hanoi University of Industry, GKM Vietnam Company and Toprank Company which took place on February 20, 2023.

Under the plan of Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) for national vocational skills testing and certification, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) cooperated with General Directorate of Vocational Training to undertake the national occupational skills evaluation for wedding (level 3), CNC metal cutting (level 3), cooling equipment operation and maintenance (level 2) with the broad participation of contestants from enterprises.

Why We Organize This Course? Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has been improving the educational and training programs based on industry’s needs, with technical assistances from Japan International Cooperation (JICA). HaUI will organize this training course as a part of the HaUI-JICA Project, responding to high demand for machinery maintenance technicians. During the survey in 2010, many enterprises show their demand on machinery maintenance technicians for improvement of productivity by reducing machine’s idling time. We selected the maintenance of conventional machines, because the participants can learn the basic knowledge and skills of machine maintenance and simply repair, which can be applied to the maintenance of various machine tools.
