On November 3rd, the Vietnam Federation of Mechanical Engineering Associations (VFMEA) joined hands with Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to host the 7th National Conference on Science & Technology on Mechanical Engineering. On August 5, 2023, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. This is the second school to be established under Hanoi University of Industry.

Nguyen Thanh Tung and Nguyen Xuan Thai - 2 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) excellently won Silver Medals with CNC Milling and CNC Turning at the 46th World Skills Competition held in Germany.

University Performance Metrics - UPM has just announced the star rankings for 33 training programs belonging to universities in Vietnam (30 universities). Brunei (02 universities) and Indonesia (01 university). The training program in Mechanics and Mechatronics of Hanoi University of Industry excellently achieved 5-star.

In order to create opportunities for lecturers to access new technology for industrial production, digitalization and the application of digital technology in their working process, on the morning of August 3, Hanoi University of Industry collaborated with Vietbay Technology Co., Ltd and Siemens Vietnam to organize a conference with the theme "Digitalization and comprehensive connection of the design and manufacturing process of mechanical and electronic products".

With the aim of developing 3D printing technology applied in mold manufacturing in Vietnam, the research team consisting of 05 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung, successfully carried out the research project “Study on designing and manufacturing 3D printing equipment (AM) integrated on CNC milling machines to improve efficiency in plastic injection mold manufacturing”. The research was highly appreciated by the Acceptance Council and won the First Prize of the 13th Student Scientific Research Competition of Hanoi University of Industry.
