Full-time International Students Admission 2024

Hanoi University of Industry announces the admission of full-time international students in 2024.

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) is a public university under the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a 126-year history of development. HaUI was formerly established as the merger of Hanoi Technical School (founded in 1898) and Hai Phong Technical School (founded in 1913). HaUI is one of the leading application-oriented universities in Vietnam with multiple disciplines, modes and levels of training, also a supplier of high-quality graduates for the industrialization, modernization and global integration of Vietnam for decades.

In 2024, Hanoi University of Industry enrolls international students in the regular university system and has a policy of granting scholarships to international students.

1. Objects and admission methods

- Objects: Candidates are foreigners who have graduated from high school or have a foreign diploma recognized as equivalent, and have Vietnamese proficiency that meets the current regulations of the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam. International students who do not have enough Vietnamese proficiency to enter the official program must take preparatory courses in Vietnamese. After finishing the preparatory program, international students must take a Vietnamese proficiency test. If they pass the test, they will be able to study the official program. If they do not pass, they will have to take additional classes and pass the test before entering the program.

- Admission method: based on academic results at the high school level or equivalent.

2. Training time and training location

- Training period: 4 years.

- Training location: Hanoi University of Industry, No. 298 Cau Dien Street, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City, Vietnam.

Each international student submits a set of documents in Vietnamese or English notarized or certified by a competent authority, including the following documents:

a) Application form (as provided)

b) High school diploma, High school academic report (notarized and translated into English or Vietnamese)

c) Health certificate (issued by a qualified hospital within 6 months)

d) Vietnamese language certificate.

e) Copy of passport and visa.

f) Certificate of non-violation of law issued by the competent authority.

g) Other related documents.

5. Application deadline:

- From June 1, 2024 to July 31, 2024.

- Successful international students are expected to enroll before September 10, 2024.

6. Tuition:

- Tuition: 30,000,000 VND/academic year/international student

7. Scholarships:

- Scholarship information: The university will grant a total of 45 scholarships to international students participating in self-sufficient full-time university training programs. These scholarships are distributed based on three levels of tuition coverage: 100%, 75% and 50% of full course tuition.

- Scholarship selection: The University will select scholarship recipients based on a comprehensive evaluation process that includes the following criteria: Admission Results; Scholarship Criteria; Field of Study; Nationality; High School Scores or Equivalent.
