HaUI launches 2025 Student Road Traffic Law Awareness Competition

As an annual initiative aimed at raising student awareness on road safety and legal knowledge, the “HaUI Student Road Traffic Law Awareness Competition 2025” continues to provide a dynamic and educational platform for first-year students. Through engaging activities such as an online photo contest, a theoretical quiz, creative skits, and hands-on motorbike safety practice, the competition encourages responsible behavior, cultural etiquette in traffic, and essential driving skills for young participants.

1. Objectives and requirements

- To promote dissemination, education, and communication of the Road Traffic Law, thereby raising awareness, responsibility, voluntary compliance, and culturally appropriate behavior in traffic participation among HaUI students.

- To enhance students' awareness and skills in safe driving practices. The competition also serves as a meaningful playground for first-year students to exchange, learn from one another, and enjoy healthy recreational activities.

2. Content, Time, and Venue

a. Time and Venue:

- Time: 08:00 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2025

- Venue: Ha Nam Campus, Hanoi University of Industry

b. Content:

- Road Traffic Law Knowledge Competition:

Part 1: Online photo contest

Part 2: Theoretical quiz on the Road Traffic Law

Part 3: Short performance/skit

Part 4: Talk show on Road Traffic Law and interactive exchange

- Motorbike Safe Driving Practice: Students will practice techniques including weaving through cone lines, figure-eight turns, and balancing on narrow wooden planks.

3. Participants

Photo Contest: 1st-year students of Cohort 19 currently studying at various schools (each school must submit at least 5 photo entries)

Theory and Skit Competitions: 5 schools with students based at the Ha Nam campus; each school will send 1 team to participate.

4. Prizes

a. Team Support:

The university supports theoretical competition teams, training, and performance costume rental: 4,000,000 VND per team.

1 First Prize: 1,000,000 VND

1 Second Prize: 800,000 VND

1 Third Prize: 600,000 VND

- Theory and Skit Contest

1 First Prize: 1,000,000 VND

1 Second Prize: 800,000 VND

1 Third Prize: 600,000 VND

2 Consolation Prizes: 400,000 VND each
