On the morning of July 6, 2021, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) held the Opening Ceremony of the "Confident to shine" scholarship program. This is the second sample class held in order to improve the quality of training for Accounting and Auditing students.

On June 25th, 2021, the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT), Hanoi University of Industry organized an online scientific seminar with the theme "Software Technology and Data Science". The seminar collected 40 quality scientific papers of FIT’s lecturers.

On June 24, at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) donated VND 200 million to the COVID-19 vaccine fund. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Vice-Rector and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong - President of the Trade Union have represented the university and gave money to support.

On June 5, 2021, the Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design organized a Graduation Project Defense Ceremony for the 12th cohort of the Bachelor of Fashion Design program.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, on May 21, 2021, Hanoi University of Industry organized a Defense panel for the Master Thesis of Business Administration for 2 Laos students.

On the morning of April 23, 2021, the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Hanoi University of Industry held a Chemical Technology Fair.

The 23rd National Physics Olympiad took place at Vinh Long University of Technology Education from April 14 to 17, 2021. HaUI students excellently won 2 First prizes, 3 Second prizes, 1 Third prize and 1 Consolation prize.

On April 17th, Laos traditional Bunpimay (or New Year) Festival 2021 was organized by Hanoi University of Industry.

Passing nearly 200 contestants, the top 10 best talented MCs of HaUI were present on the final night of the contest "HaUI MC Talents", which took place on March 31, 2021.
