On the afternoon of December 10, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) hosted a solemn ceremony to announce the Decision to confer the title of Associate Professor upon 11 distinguished educators and scientists of the University. This event was particularly momentous, occurring immediately after the University officially transitioned its operating model to the “Hanoi University of Industry” system by the Prime Minister's decision , further highlighting the high caliber of its faculty and the growing stature of an institution rapidly ascending to a major university system.

On the morning of December 9th, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held an important working session with a delegation from Nanning Normal University (NNU), China. This event took place as HaUI strengthens its pivotal role as a key higher education institution designated to train human resources for advanced technology sectors, such as the semiconductor industry. The signing of the MOU between the two parties is not just a new milestone in academic diplomacy but also opens up a crucial strategic roadmap for collaborative training and in-depth research in AI, electronics, and new materials, aiming to develop high-quality human resources in the region.

The familiar Vietnamese folk melody “Beo Dat May Troi” resonated through the hall, performed not by Vietnamese singers but by 29 master’s students from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), China. This emotional performance marked a memorable highlight at the closing ceremony of the first Master’s Student Exchange Program between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and GXUST on December 4, 2025.

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has awarded nearly 9.5 billion VND in scholarships to its freshmen of Cohort 20, as announced during the HaUI Scholarship Award Ceremony held on 12 November.

Nearly 200 papers authored by 647 researchers from 13 countries marked the 6th International Conference on Research in Management and Technological Innovation (ICRMAT 2025), held on November 7. The conference was jointly organized by Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Electric Power University (EPU), and Stanley College of Engineering and Technology (India), bringing together leading scholars in management and technology from around the world. On November 7, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed a delegation from Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP), China, led by Mr. Tong Lai, Secretary of the Party Committee of SUEP. On October 28, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) warmly welcomed a delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), China. The two institutions engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at identifying breakthrough initiatives for cooperation, particularly in the pioneering field of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology.
