On January 1st, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) on behalf of the University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seoul National University of Science and Technology - Korea (SeoulTech).

On December 24th, 2018, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) received a delegation from Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT), China.

On December 14^th, 2018, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) received a delegation from Kangnam University, Korea.

On December 7th, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Prof.Dr. Lee Seung Woo - President of Kunjang College (Korea) officially signed a cooperation agreement.

On December 4th, 2018, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) received a delegation from Vietnam Industrial & Commercial College (VCI) and Hoffman Group, Federal Republic of Germany - one of the leading industrial tool manufacturers and machining method advisors in Europe.

On November 29^th, 2018, a delegation from Laos’ Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), led by Deputy Minister Khamphay Sisavanh, paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to learn about the university work on gender equality and advancements of women.

On the morning of October 24th, the delegation from Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship Technical - Vocational College (VHFTVC) led by Rector Outhay BANNAVONG paid a visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI). At the meeting, the leaders of the two universities discussed the Laotian student admission and support at Hanoi University of Industry.

Exchange of lecturers, undergraduate and graduate students, cooperation in the training of a Master's program in English language, promoting research cooperation and support from the Australian Department of Education and Training and the Australian Embassy in Vietnam were the main topics of the working session on October 16^th between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and representatives from Queensland University of Technology (Australia).

From 12^th- 13^th of October, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized the VietTESOL International Convention 2018 in collaboration with the US Embassy and VietTESOL association. Professor Nguyen Hoa, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association for English language Teaching and Research, (VietTESOL Association) in his opening speech emphasized that "The theme of our Convetion is English language education in the industrial revolution 4.0: meeting the needs of the dynamic labor market, I cannot think of a more befitting place to hold this Convention than Hanoi University of Industry"

Assoc. prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Party Commission Secretary, Rector of HaUI affirmed that Hanoi University of Industry has always highly valued the importance of the cooperation with Mozambique and hoped to visit and work with universities in Mozambique, promoting the development collaboration between the two sides.

On the morning of October 5^th, 2018, Vietnam Federation of Mechanical Engineering Associations (VFMEA) cooperated with Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to hold the 5th National Conference on Mechanical Science & Technology at the Conference Hall, A11 Building, HaUI.
