On April, 7th, 2016, Laotian students studying in Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) joyfully welcomed their traditional Bun Pi May Tet.

In 2016, 3 nationwide training courses for teachers at vocational and technical training institutions will be offered as part of the Project HaUI – JICA. On the 4^th, April, 2016, the opening ceremony of three courses: PLC application and industrial communication networks; Mechanical design in Solid Works Environment; Applying Microcontroller Techniques to controlling machines took place at conference room, 2^nd floor, in A7 Building.

On the morning of 31st March, 2016, the Scholarships Awards Ceremony was held by DENSO Vietnam Co., Ltm. Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) collaborated with enterprises to introduce helpful job information to students.

On the morning of March 21st, 2016, an employment workshop for the final year students, especially those majoring in engineering, was held by HaUI in collaboration with Sam Sung Electronics Company.

In the afternoon of 2nd March 2016, HaUI’s Vice Principal Dr Bui Thi Ngan had a meeting with the managing director of Japan’s Shinko Technos Research and Development Corporation (Shinko Technos R&D). At the meeting, there were also the representatives of the Vocational Skill Assessment and Business Relations Center, the Japan-Vietnam Center, the Faculty of Electrical Technology and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology.

On February, 26th, 2016 morning, Assoc. Prof. and Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector, Head of Project Management chaired the 10th HaUI-JICA Project Management meeting at Hanoi University of Industry.

On January 29th, 2016, Hanoi University of Industry held a solemn ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the university rector for the period of 2016 - 2021. The participants included Mr. Tran Tuan Anh – the Commissioner of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the comrades representing the Party Committee of Hanoi Industrial Division, Department of personnel Organization, Human Resource Development Department – the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the university’s Governing Board and key leaders.

On January 26th, 2016, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) honored to receive the certification to be an accredited test center of the European Computers Driving License - ECDL Foundation. The participants of this ceremony included the representatives of the ECDL in Asia and Vietnam, the university governing board, the centre for foreign languages and informatics and a number of functional units of the university.

On January 11th 2016, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy- Rector of HaUI, had a meeting with Mr. Atsunori KUME- CUDBAS expert, who has taken a short-term assignment at the university.

Based on mutual trust, development cooperation and benefit equality, the cooperation agreement between HaUI and Jiangsu Institute of Commerce (JIC-China) was signed on 30th December 2015.

On December 29th 2015, the closing ceremony of Meister 5 technician training course was held in Seminar Room, 2nd floor, A7 building. The participants included the university Governing Board, faculties, functional units, Minami Fuji Co., ltd. and Meister trainees.
