Hanoi University of Industry cooperates with Nissan Automotive Technology Vietnam in training high-quality human resources
On March 21, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, The Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), had a meeting and worked with Nissan Automotive Technology Vietnam (NATV) to promote deeper cooperation in high-quality human resource training.
Overview of the meeting
At the working session, both parties discussed and reached an agreement on the direction of a long-term cooperation plan in the field of training high-quality human resources in areas such as information technology, mechanical engineering, automobile technology, electronics, and automation, in which technical training will be linked with foreign languages, particularly Japanese language..

In his remarks at the working session, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of HaUI, expressed his happiness and appreciation for the excellent results achieved in the cooperative relationship between the two sides over the years.
Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc noted that through the pre-employment training program , NATV has supported more than 400 students in finding employment after graduation, and there are more than 800 HaUI’s alumni currently working at the company. This is a very impressive and meaningful number in the 10-year journey of establishing a relationship between HaUI and NATV.
To ensure effective cooperation between the two sides, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc hopes that HaUI and NATV will continue to collaborate on research to make necessary adjustments to improve the training programs. Additionally, he suggested working with the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism under the Hanoi University of Industry to develop training content and strengthen communication efforts to guide students in studying and using the Japanese language."
Mr. Hirohisa Kabuto, General Director of Nissan Automotive Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd, highly appreciated the attention and support of the leaders of Hanoi University of Industry.
In response to the warm sentiments shared by Mr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Mr. Hirohisa Kabuto noted that a large proportion of the human resources at NATV are former students of Hanoi University of Industry, with over 40 alumni currently holding management positions in the company.
Building on the positive outcomes of the pre-employment training program for final-year engineering students, NATV will continue to expand opportunities for collaboration with Hanoi University of Industry in the future. This may include organizing company visits for first and second-year students, as well as providing training opportunities for third and fourth-year students with strong language skills and technical abilities.
Mr. Hirohisa Kabuto emphasized that high-level Japanese language proficiency among technical personnel is a crucial factor in achieving the sustainable development goals of NATV and the Nissan Group as a whole.

With the objectives set, the representatives of Hanoi University of Industry and NATV will collaborate to develop a long-term plan for pre-employment training linkage in terms of the target participants, duration, training methods, and remuneration policies.
