Hanoi University of Industry hosts the Graduation Ceremony for nearly 600 associate degree students
On the afternoon of March 22, 2026, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly hosted the Graduation Ceremony for Associate Degree Students. The event was attended by the university’s leadership, lecturers, representatives from enterprises, parents, and nearly 600 graduating students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector of HaUI, commended the students for their resilience and dedication. He emphasized that as technological advancements continually raise the standards for human resources, graduates must prioritize professional ethics. He urged the new alumni to approach their careers with integrity and a commitment to community service, stressing the importance of lifelong learning and adaptability to uphold the core cultural values of the university.

Representing the graduating class, Hoang Thi Phuong Thao from the Industrial Electronics Class 1 (Cohort 25), reflected on her transformation from a wide-eyed freshman to a proud graduate. She noted that behind her diploma lies the dedication of the lecturers and the unwavering support of her family.
In her speech, Phuong Thao expressed profound gratitude to the university’s leadership, professors, and staff for creating the best possible environment for their studies. She also sent a heartfelt message to the graduates' families, acknowledging them as the solid foundation that empowered the students to overcome challenges and mature.

The ceremony also welcomed Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong, a Mechanical Engineering alumnus and currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Binh Minh Machinery and Equipment JSC. Drawing from his own journey from student to industry professional and manufacturing entrepreneur, he offered practical advice to the new graduates.
Mr. Phong stressed that the post-graduation phase is a critical time for building discipline, accumulating experience, and developing a professional mindset. He advised the graduates to be willing to start from entry-level positions, persist in learning, face real-world challenges head-on, and proactively adapt to corporate environments. Furthermore, he highlighted that a strong work ethic and a progressive attitude are the decisive factors for long-term career advancement.
