Hanoi University of Industry promotes educational cooperation with universities in China

From April 16 to April 21, the delegation of Hanoi University of Industry, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council paid a working visit to a number of universities in China to expand the cooperation on education and scientific research.

The delegation included Dr. Le Viet Anh, Director of the International Cooperation Center; Dr. Tran Ngoc Duc, Vice principal of School of Foreign Languages and Tourism (under HaUI); Dr. Vu Dinh Khoa, Dean of the Business Administration Faculty; Dr. Pham Van Thoan, Deputy Head of the Academic Affair Department; and Ms. Do Thi Thanh Loan, Specialist of the International Cooperation Center.

The working visit is very necessary in the international cooperation development strategy of Hanoi University of Industry. Cooperation programs between Hanoi University of Industry and Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), Guilin University of Technology (GUT), Guilin University of Electronic Technology GUET) have been implemented successfully in the past time. This activity contributes to improving the quality of training and scientific research, promoting the comprehensive cooperation relationship between Hanoi University of Industry and universities in China, tightening the relationship between the two countries Vietnam- China.

The parties have reached important agreements on many fields, including:

- Introducing HaUI's training programs to Chinese students;

- Implementing training courses for HaUI’s lecturers and sending chinese teachers to HaUI to teach Chinese language for students;

- Introducing the training program "Vietnamese language and culture";

- Training and assessing Vietnamese language ability, granting "Vietnamese language certificate 6 levels for foreigners";

- Supporting HaUI in short-term and long-term Chinese language training for students majoring in Chinese language or students studying 2+2, 3+1 joint training programs.

The successful working visit marked a milestone of strong cooperation between HaUI and GXUST, GUT, GUET.

Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST)

Since 2015, the two universities have successfully implemented student exchange programs, winter and summer camps with the participation of more than 200 students. Currently, the two universities are expanding their cooperation by building a 2+2 joint training program in Chinese language, English language, textile technology, and automotive technology; implementing an exchange program for students of Hanoi University of Industry to come to Guangxi to intern at enterprises.

Guilin University of Technology (GUT)

In 2022, HaUI and GUT signed a MoU and MoA implemented a 2+2 training cooperation in Business Administration and Hotel Management. Currently, HaUI and GUT are developing cooperation in tourism management, marketing, supply chain management, finance and banking. In the coming time, GUT will continue to develop more joint 2+2 training programs in Tourism and winter and summer camp programs.

Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET)

From 2011 to 2012, Hanoi University of Industry has implemented an exchange program for students majoring in English language with Guilin University of Electronic Technology, China. The two sides are planning to develop 2+2 training cooperation in Mechatronics.
