HaUI strengthens cooperation with Hanoi City Department of Science and Technology
On April 18, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed a Hanoi City Department of Science and Technology delegation for a working session to foster strategic collaboration in scientific and technological development.
Overview of the meeting
During the meeting, leaders from both sides exchanged insights on Hanoi’s strategic directions for science and technology in the upcoming period. Particular emphasis was placed on fostering close linkages between research, education, and practical application in high-tech fields. Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Director of the Hanoi City Department of Science and Technology, highly appreciated HaUI’s research capacity, its team of scientific experts, and its modern facilities. He affirmed that HaUI is one of the key institutions with strong potential to participate in the city’s major scientific and technological missions.

Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, reiterated HaUI’s commitment to its orientation as a multi-disciplinary applied university. These strengths allow HaUI to lead interdisciplinary collaboration and build strong research teams capable of addressing real-world challenges from both enterprises and society.
