Traditional Bunpimay Festival organized for Lao students

On April 17th, Laos traditional Bunpimay (or New Year) Festival 2021 was organized by Hanoi University of Industry.

Laos traditional Bunpimay (or New Year) Festival 2021 was formally held with traditional rites, which brought Lao students a chance to enjoy the warm and cheerful New Year atmosphere of Laos in Vietnam. Attending the festival, delegates and Lao students joined in peace-praying ceremony, water-splashing ceremony, thread-tying ceremony, and Lam-vong dance; wished everyone a year of health, peace, and good fortune.

Traditional Bunpimay Festival organized for Lao students

The New Year celebration program was an opportunity for Lao students to celebrate the traditional New Year Festival and get motivation in the study and daily life. Besides, it helped strengthen the friendship, solidarity between Vietnam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Currently, 114 Lao students are studying at Hanoi University of Industry.
