Plan to participate in the Northern Selection Round at Vietnam Robocon 2019

Time: March 30th 2019 - April 5th 2019

Location: Tây Hồ Indoor Sports Stadium, No. 99, Vo Chi Cong street, Tay Ho district, Hanoi

Requirements for HaUI Robocon teams:

- Learning about competition rules, urgently improve techniques and competition tactics;

- Following the schedule of the organizers to test the robots and other sideline activities.

- Ensuring safety for robots during transportation and competition time.

Information about Robocon 2019:

The theme of Robocon 2019 to be held in Ulaabaatar, Mongolia, is “Great Urtuu”. The idea came from the Mongolian Cultural heritage. The contest carries the message “Sharing knowledge” by using “Urtuu” system. The match will be conducted between two teams: Red and Blue. The maximum time for each match is 3 minutes.

The movement area for manual robots includes the starting area called “Khangai Urtuu”, the forest, the river, and the bridge. Each team has 3 Shagai in the match. The moving area for automatic robots includes starting area called “Gobi Urtuu”, sand dunes, grass bushes, Urtuu Mountain and Uuukhai area.

Each team has 2 robots which are one manual robot called messenging robot 1 and one automatic robot called messenging robot 2. These robots have to cross the forest,the sand dunes, grass bushes successfully to score points.

At National Robocon 2019, the Qualifier Round will sort out 32 teams including 24 teams from the North and 8 teams represented the South to attend the Final Round in Hai Duong province from 7/5.
