In response to this need, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Viettel Software have officially launched the HaUI Viettel Software Laboratory, known as HaUI VTIT, at the School of Information and Communications Technology.

On 2 July 2026, the Labour Supplying and Training Company Limited (LETCO), a subsidiary of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Daeduk University (Republic of Korea) and IBTECH Joint Stock Company. The grand finale of the Digital Era Creative Innovation Competition 2026 (DECIC 2026) marked the culmination of an intense journey, bringing together the top 6 teams selected from 63 tech-forward groups across Vietnamese universities. Far from being a mere academic exercise, this year's competition spotlighted a powerful shift in student research: turning real-world friction points into the ultimate launchpad for breakthrough ideas.

Artificial intelligence is increasingly transforming biomedical research, creating new opportunities for collaboration across disciplines. Embracing this trend, five students from the English-taught Information Technology program at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) ventured beyond the traditional boundaries of computer science to investigate a biomedical challenge. Their study on deep learning for microbe–drug association prediction has been accepted for publication in Intelligence-Based Medicine, a Scopus Q2 journal.

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international collaboration in education and workforce development, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed a delegation from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and professors from leading Korean universities on June 16, 2026.
