On March 27th, 2017, the "Robocon Vietnam 2017" competition was held with the participation of 10 teams from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering.

In response to the contest "Robocon Vietnam 2017" organized by Vietnam Television, Hanoi University of Industry launched its own Robocon Competition and invested in designing and setting up the training ground with the theme “The Landing Disc” inspired by a Japanese game called Tosenkyo. Japan is the host of ABU Robocon 2017.
A fair play match
Going through 24 exciting, fair play but also full of tension matches with the enthusiastic cheers of the teachers and students of HaUi, Team ĐT1 from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering won the first prize. The second went to team NN01 of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The two teams of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering named Sumerian and SKY respectively won the Third and the Fourth Prize.

The contest is held annually to stimulate the passion and creativity of science and technology, provide an opportunity for the students to practice their techniques, tactics and gain experience. After the competition, 6 best teams were selected to compete in the "Robocon Vietnam 2017" of universities in the northern provinces and cities, officially in Hanoi from April 1st, 2017 to April 5th, 2017.
It is hoped that the robot teams of Hanoi University of Industry would successfully compete and won the highest prizes in the upcoming competitions.
