A group of second-year students from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has developed a meaningful and innovative product to support people with disabilities: an automatic handwriting system controlled by voice commands. Their project, titled “Application of Stepper Motors in Building a Writing Support System for People with Disabilities”, won Second Prize at HaUI’s university-level scientific research competition - an impressive result for a team participating for the very first time.

On the occasion of Vietnam Day of People with Disabilities (April 18), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a meaningful gathering and presented 29 gifts to students with disabilities currently studying at the university. This activity not only reflects the university’s profound care for students with disabilities but also reaffirms HaUI’s strong commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable educational environment.

On April 18, 2024, Hanoi University of Industry organized a meeting with students with disabilities on the occasion of Vietnam's Disabled Persons' Day, to provide them with additional motivation, assist them in successfully completing their studies, and maintain an optimistic outlook on life.
