The grand finale of the Digital Era Creative Innovation Competition 2026 (DECIC 2026) marked the culmination of an intense journey, bringing together the top 6 teams selected from 63 tech-forward groups across Vietnamese universities. Far from being a mere academic exercise, this year's competition spotlighted a powerful shift in student research: turning real-world friction points into the ultimate launchpad for breakthrough ideas.

A total of 621 student research projects were successfully completed, involving 2,356 students, with 613 awards presented to 2,329 participants at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI). Notably, all First Prize-winning projects were accompanied by scientific publications, many of which appeared in prestigious ISI/Scopus-indexed journals, reflecting the growing international reach of student research at the University.

As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to reshape economies and drive digital transformation worldwide, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) hosted the opening ceremony of the Vietnamese Student HackAIthon 2026 and the AI4Student – AI4Life Talk Show on 28 May 2026.
