“Hello Robot - Impressive Kick-off” contest

To promote creativity, teamwork, and communication skills among high school students and to create excitement leading up to the Robot Competition at Hung Vuong Summer Camp 2025, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), is organizing the “Hello Robot - Impressive Kick-off” Contest.

I. PURPOSE AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Purpose

- To promote the image and activities of the SEEE to high school students, supporting student recruitment and outreach efforts, especially on social media platforms.

- To create an engaging and friendly atmosphere before the official Robot Competition at Hung Vuong Summer Camp 2025, where the university is a technical sponsor. The contest also serves as a chance for teams to introduce themselves and connect before the event.

- To encourage creativity through video-making while showcasing the team’s spirit, personality, and robot project ideas.

- To help students develop communication and teamwork skills in a fun and interactive way.

2. Requirements

- Encourage broad participation from student teams.

- Ensure high-quality, creative, and relevant video content.

- Maintain fairness, accuracy, and transparency in the judging process.

II. CONTEST RULES

1. Eligibility

All high school teams are participating in the Robot Competition at Hung Vuong Summer Camp 2025.

2. Submission guidelines

- Each team is required to submit one (01) short video introducing their team. Submission details are as follows:

- Content: The video should include the team’s name, high school, team members, slogan, and the idea for their HaUI Robot. Teams are encouraged to be creative in format (e.g., interviews, vlogs, parodies, animation, etc.).

Technical specifications: Maximum duration of 2 minutes; file format .mp4 or .mov; minimum resolution HD (720p). Logos must be displayed as follows:

- The high school’s logo is in the top-right corner.

- The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering’s logo in the top-left corner.

- Submission method: Each high school team advisor must send the video file or a video link via email to seee@haui.edu.vn. Please include the following details:

Team Name:

- School: [Full name of the high school]

- Slogan:

All videos will be posted on the official SEE fan page. Each entry will be numbered and uploaded in the order received.

3. Scoring criteria

Final score = Engagement Score (shares + reactions) + Creativity Score (judged by the organizing committee)

Scoring breakdown:

- Public Shares: 3 points per share

- Reactions: 1 point per reaction

- Creativity (judged score): 0 – 30 points

4. Awards

A total of 8 prizes based on overall score and 1 creativity award, including:

- 01 First Prize: 3,000,000 VND + Certificate

- 01 Second Prize: 2,000,000 VND + Certificate

- 02 Third Prizes: 1,000,000 VND + Certificate

- 04 Consolation Prizes: 500,000 VND + Certificate

- 01 Creativity Award: 1,000,000 VND + Certificate

5. Timeline

- Contest launch: June 30, 2025

- Submission deadline: 11:59 PM, July 12, 2025

- Video posting and engagement period: From July 14, 2025

- Engagement score cut-off: 9:00 PM, July 24, 2025

- Result announcement: July 26, 2025

- Award ceremony: During the Robot Competition at Hung Vuong Summer Camp 2025

6. Other regulations

- The Organizing Committee will assign mentors to support teams in preparing their videos.

- All videos must comply with content guidelines, be appropriate in nature, and not violate any legal or copyright regulations.

- All teams are encouraged to promote their videos ethically. Any form of cheating will result in disqualification. The Organizing Committee’s decision is final.
