SE-HaUI Hackathon 2025 “NeoCulture InnoBiz”

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly announces the organization of the SE-HaUI Hackathon 2025 under the theme "NeoCulture InnoBiz". This annual innovation contest is designed to empower students with entrepreneurial thinking, promote technology-enabled cultural business models, and contribute to a sustainable startup ecosystem rooted in Vietnam's rich heritage.

1. Objectives

- To foster a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem among students, particularly at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and the School of Economics.

- To create an annual playground that nurtures startup mindsets, equips students with essential entrepreneurial skills, and encourages the development of projects based on cultural capital and technological application.

- To identify and support innovative culture-based startup ideas for participation in national competitions, aligning with the university's sustainable development goals.

- To strengthen collaboration between students, faculty, and external organizations, including businesses and innovation centers.

2. Requirements

- Communication & Engagement: Broad dissemination of information across HaUI and other institutions to attract wide participation from students and faculty.

- Participation Targets:

+ At least 30 startup projects

+ At least 8 participating universities

+ At least 20 business mentors

- Project Quality:

+ Emphasis on innovation, cultural integration, and interdisciplinary collaboration

+ Demonstrates sustainable business models and technological applications

+ Compliant with current legal regulations

- Overall Execution: Timely, efficient, and impactful implementation throughout all phases.

- Phase 1: Team Formation & Registration on April 1 - 10, 2025

- Phase 2: Online Workshop Series on April 15 - 17, 2025
