On the morning of January 27, more than 100 students of Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design - Hanoi University of Industry visited Garment 10 Joint-Stock Company.

From December 14-17, 2020, the Faculty of Information Technology held seminars on internships and employment opportunities for IT students. 12 companies took part to offer nearly 600 internships and employment opportunities for students.

On December 16, the finale of "Students with startup ideas 2020" contest hosted by the Faculty of Business Management, was took place. "Color" team won the first prize with the idea of "Organic Color".

The 29th Vietnam Informatics Olympiad (OLP), International Programming Contest (Procon) and International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asia Can Tho Regional contest 2020 took place in Can Tho from December 8 - 12. HaUI students excellently won 1 First prize and 3 Third prizes.

On the afternoon of November 27, 2020, Hanoi University of Industry held the Closing Ceremony of the HaUI Mathematics and Physics Olympiad in 2020. 44 out of 368 students won prizes at the competition.

As tournament comes to an end, the HaUI Basketball Team finished in 3rd place in the Hanoi Men's Basketball League 2020.

On November 17, the Hanoi Men's Basketball League 2020 was officially held at Hanoi University of Industry. The tournament will last until November 27, 2020.

From November 12 - 14, 2020, HaUI held the Graduation Ceremony & Degree Awarding Ceremony for the Graduates of 2020. A total of 3455 graduates from 11 different faculties attended the graduation ceremony to witness the unforgettable moment.

On the morning of November 14, 2020, Hanoi University of Industry held the National Vocational Skills Assessment in Garment Technology, Level 1.

On the morning of September 23, 24 at Hanoi University of Industry, Samsung Electro-Mechanics Vietnam (SEMV) and M1 communication one member limited liability company (M1 Company) conducted a seminar on internship program for nearly 300 college students of Center for Mechanical Engineering (CME) and Vietnam Japan Center (VJC).

The HaUI Robocon contest 2020 took place on the morning of June 18th, 2020. DTO3 team from the Faculty of Electronics Engineering won the first prize after defeating 11 other teams from different faculties.
