A night of pride and aspiration: HaUI's special art performance honors national milestones
On April 24, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) hosted a special art performance, marking three significant occasions: the 50th anniversary of the National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), and in celebration of the 8th Party Congress of HaUI, term 2025-2030. Organized by the Party Committee of the University, the event resonated like a sacred epic, weaving together the glorious past, proud present, and radiant future of the Vietnamese nation.

The evening was not only a tribute to history but also a vibrant cultural expression of unity and patriotism. With a perfect blend of music and storytelling, the program created a space where the legacy of past generations harmonized with the energy of today’s youth. It offered a profound reminder of the sacrifices made for national independence and the responsibility of the current generation to uphold and further that legacy in the face of modern challenges.
The performance featured a collaboration between professional and amateur artists, including singers and performers from the Military University of Culture and Arts and the Art Performance Team of Hanoi University of Industry. Their passionate and heartfelt renditions brought to life the powerful stories of the Vietnamese people, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired.

In his opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council, emphasized that the performance was far more than a cultural event. “It is an opportunity for the power of art to awaken national pride, to strengthen unwavering faith in our beloved Party and Uncle Ho, and to nurture patriotism in everyone,” he noted. The event served as a profound tribute to the past, a reflection of confidence in the present, and a bold aspiration toward a future shaped by the courage and resilience of a proud people. “Together, we relived heroic moments and deeply felt the emotional cadence of our nation’s journey through struggle, reconstruction, and development,” he added.
The art program featured three thematic chapters: The Glorious Party - The Great Uncle Ho - The Heroic Vietnamese Nation; The Sacred Seas and Islands of Vietnam; and The Aspiration to Rise. With 15 meticulously choreographed performances, the evening took the audience on a deeply emotional journey - from the radiant legacy of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the enduring vision of President Ho Chi Minh, to the solemn breath of the homeland’s sea and islands, and finally to the soaring ambition of a confident and resilient HaUI youth. These young people, full of determination and readiness to break through in the new era, embody the spirit of a nation reaching boldly into the future.
This celebration reaffirmed HaUI’s commitment to academic excellence and instilled a deep sense of cultural identity, patriotism, and national pride. As melodies filled the night sky, they echoed the unbroken will of generations past and the hopeful voices of today’s youth - all united under one flag, one aspiration, and one shared destiny.
