HaUI and AIVOS enhance cooperation in applied research and technology innovation
Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and AIVOS Co., Ltd. held a working meeting on June 16 to discuss opportunities for cooperation in education, applied research, and technology transfer. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to strengthening university–industry collaboration in support of innovation, talent development, and the practical application of science and technology.

The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice President of Hanoi University of Industry. The AIVOS delegation was led by Mr. Ouyang Xiaojie, General Director of AIVOS Co., Ltd. and Vietnam Market Director of Shengguangtuo Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., together with Mr. Sun Bin, General Director of Beijing Shengguangtuo Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., and other company representatives.

In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong emphasized that cooperation between universities and enterprises should be built upon substantive collaboration in education, applied research, and technology transfer. Such partnerships, he noted, enable students to engage with emerging technologies while creating opportunities for academic staff, researchers, and industry partners to jointly address practical challenges and enhance the application of research outcomes.
He welcomed AIVOS's proposals for cooperation and expressed his expectation that both sides would soon implement concrete initiatives to develop highly qualified human resources, expand access to advanced technologies, and strengthen collaboration within national and international innovation ecosystems.

Representing AIVOS, Mr. Ouyang Xiaojie reaffirmed the company's interest in establishing long-term cooperation with HaUI. Drawing on its expertise in AIoT, advanced materials, recycling technologies, and green construction, AIVOS proposed collaborative activities in education, applied research, technology transfer, and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to jointly develop a training programme for 60 engineers specializing in AIoT applications and to explore the establishment of a technology exhibition, demonstration, and research space at HaUI. The proposed cooperation also includes the integration of advanced technologies, including AI-powered cameras, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the AIVOS AIoT platform, green materials for asphalt applications, and colorectal cancer screening technologies into teaching, research, and technology demonstration activities.

The two sides also discussed cooperation in advanced materials for asphalt applications through investment in specialized equipment and the development of advanced training programmes, with the long-term objective of preparing approximately 1,000 highly qualified engineers. Additional areas of cooperation include joint scientific research, technology development, collaborative research projects, academic conferences, expert exchanges, and technology showcases.

The meeting established a framework for long-term cooperation between HaUI and AIVOS in education, research, innovation, and technology transfer. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to strengthen university–industry collaboration, promote the application and commercialization of research outcomes, and contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce for sustainable economic and technological development.
