HaUI and GXUST conclude the first Master’s Exchange program with academic and cultural highlights
The familiar Vietnamese folk melody “Beo Dat May Troi” resonated through the hall, performed not by Vietnamese singers but by 29 master’s students from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), China. This emotional performance marked a memorable highlight at the closing ceremony of the first Master’s Student Exchange Program between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and GXUST on December 4, 2025.

After nearly three months of study and research, the program achieved positive academic outcomes while also serving as a bridge for cultural exchange, fostering the spirit of global citizenship among young scholars.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice-Rector of HaUI, emphasized the crucial role of international cooperation in the context of globalization and higher education transformation. He affirmed that the program's success reflected the strong partnership between the two universities.
He also commended the dedication and perseverance of the GXUST students, sharing an inspiring message for their future development as global citizens equipped with strong professional expertise, language proficiency, soft skills, and negotiation abilities.

During their stay in Viet Nam, the students took part in meaningful cultural experiences, visiting Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Ha Long Bay, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and several museums, gaining deeper insights into Vietnamese history and culture.
Representing the GXUST students, Liang Quan expressed sincere gratitude in Vietnamese for the warm support from HaUI’s leadership, lecturers, and student volunteers. He shared touching memories of daily assistance, which helped create a welcoming and “home-like” environment throughout the program.
