HaUI expands international learning opportunities for students in China
In September 2025, 22 students majoring in Business Administration, 24 students of English and Chinese Studies, and 14 students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) embarked on academic exchange and study programs at leading universities and enterprises in China.
In the context of profound globalization and integration, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) continues to affirm its strategic direction of educational internationalization through joint training programs with top universities and corporations in China. Three prominent programs were launched in September 2025, offering study, experiential, and development opportunities to HaUI students.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, attended the opening ceremony of the 3+1 International Student Exchange Program in Electronics, co-organized by HaUI, Goertek, and Guilin University of Electronic Technology in Guilin, China.
The 3+1 international student exchange is an advanced cooperative program that provides HaUI students with the opportunity to access a new, dynamic, and experience-rich learning environment in China. Notably, this is a credit-recognition program implemented by HaUI and GUET under the "University-University-Enterprise" model. The three parties have made strong commitments to provide maximum support for students, ensure training quality, nurture talent, and guarantee recruitment by Goertek.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong highlighted the event as a key milestone representing the initial success of the tripartite cooperation. He exhorted the students to maintain a spirit of inquiry, to be proactive and creative, and to strive tirelessly to acquire valuable knowledge, broaden their horizons, and enhance their skills, thereby laying a robust foundation for their future professional careers.

Nguyen Van Nam, a student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, shared his perspective on the journey. He explained that his decision to join the program was driven by the desire to immerse himself in an international academic environment, deepen his specialized knowledge, and build a strong foundation for a future career in multinational corporations. While acknowledging initial challenges with communication, he credited the invaluable support from senior Vietnamese students for facilitating a smooth adaptation to their new life and studies. Nam noted that he is now engaged with innovative teaching methods and is determined not only to excel academically but also to serve as a cultural ambassador, fostering friendship between the students of both nations.

As a cornerstone of HaUI's internationalization strategy, the '2+2' Business Administration program with Guilin University of Technology is shaping the next generation of business leaders. Following two years of rigorous foundational training in Vietnam, a select cohort of 22 students has now advanced to their studies in China. This initiative is meticulously designed to cultivate global competence, equipping students with contemporary management expertise and the cross-cultural agility required to excel in the international marketplace.

24 students from School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, majoring in English and Chinese Language, has embarked on the 2+2 joint training program and a one-year exchange at Guangxi University of Science and Technology, China.
Concurrently, 24 students majoring in English and Chinese from HaUI's School of Foreign Languages and Tourism are participating in "2+2" joint training and one-year exchange programs with Guangxi University of Science and Technology. This is an opportunity for students to hone their language skills, explore the culture, and enhance academic exchange, thereby becoming a bridge of friendship between the youth of Vietnam and China.
