Distance Learning Maximizes Learners' Strengths and Mastery

On the morning of October 20, 2024, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held an opening ceremony to welcome 91 students to its Distance Learning Course in English Language. This event marked another milestone in HaUI's dedication to offering flexible learning solutions that align with the evolving demands of students in a digital age. In collaboration with ONSCHOOL, a company specializing in online education, HaUI has designed this distance learning course to meet the needs of learners who require a more adaptable educational experience.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, congratulated the 91 students enrolled in the course. He emphasized the unique challenges and opportunities presented by distance learning, noting that success in such programs requires a high degree of self-awareness, effective time management, and determination. He stressed that these skills not only help students overcome difficulties but also contribute to their overall academic growth. Through distance learning, students can practice self-study, engage in independent research, and take full responsibility for their learning process-critical abilities in today’s fast-paced world.

The opening ceremony included sessions where students were briefed on the program’s training regulations and learning methods. Faculty members also provided guidance on how to navigate the E-learning platform, ensuring that students were well-prepared to embark on their academic journey. HaUI has been proactive in expanding its distance learning initiatives. Just two months prior, in August 2024, the university welcomed 131 students to its English Language Distance Learning Program, further demonstrating its commitment to making education more accessible. HaUI ensures that learners receive a high-quality education that leverages technology to support both personal and academic development.
