Hanoi University of Industry signs cooperation agreement with Biel Crystal on high-quality human resource training and recruitment
On the morning of January 15, 2026, a delegation from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, paid a working visit and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Biel Crystal Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. at An Phat 1 Industrial Park, Hai Phong City.

At the meeting, representatives of Biel Crystal introduced the company’s impressive scale of operations in Vietnam, highlighting its large manufacturing facilities specializing in high-tech optical products such as smartphone display glass, smart watch glass, and automotive control screens. In response to rapid growth and expanding production demands, Biel Crystal expressed a strong need for highly qualified technical personnel and highly appreciated HaUI’s reputation and training quality in the region.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong presented HaUI’s new university governance model, comprising five member schools and more than 60 diverse academic programs. In 2026, HaUI is expected to enroll students in over 70 undergraduate programs, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to engage with and recruit students while they are still studying. The University’s leadership also emphasized its desire to promote in-depth cooperation programs, including opportunities for HaUI students to receive specialized training and internships at Biel Crystal’s facilities in China.

According to the MOU, the two parties agreed to establish specialized classes for final-year students majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Automation, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students participating in the program will be fully sponsored by Biel Crystal for Chinese language tuition and supplementary professional training courses, and will commit to working for the company for at least one year after graduation. In addition, HaUI and Biel Crystal will regularly exchange lecturers and experts to jointly refine training curricula in alignment with real-world manufacturing practices.
Strengthening cooperation with international partners such as Biel Crystal brings global manufacturing practices directly into lecture halls, laboratories, and workshops, while opening doors for HaUI students to access cross-border working environments. This collaboration represents a significant step toward aligning education with societal needs and reinforces Hanoi University of Industry’s journey toward becoming a leading provider of high-quality human resources, committed to sustainable development and deep international integration.
