HaUI graduation season 2026: Final-Year students present applied research and projects

As the academic year draws to a close, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) enters one of its most important milestones as thousands of final-year students present their graduation projects and theses. Across classrooms, laboratories, and presentation halls, months of research, experimentation, and practical learning come together in a series of academic defences that mark the transition from university life to professional careers.

Graduation Season 2026 reflects the diversity and academic strengths of HaUI as students from engineering, technology, economics, languages, tourism, fashion, and chemical technology showcase the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their studies. More than a final academic requirement, each presentation demonstrates students' ability to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges while highlighting the University's commitment to practice-oriented education, innovation, and industry engagement.

At the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 876 students presented their graduation projects before 37 assessment panels across six academic programmes, including Automation Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Thermal Engineering. Their projects ranged from intelligent automation systems and embedded technologies to advanced electronic circuit design, reflecting strong technical expertise and practical problem-solving skills developed through hands-on learning.

The School of Information and Communications Technology also welcomed a vibrant graduation season, with 607 students defending their projects before 49 assessment panels. Covering disciplines such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Multimedia Technology, the projects addressed a wide range of real-world applications, from software development and intelligent systems to cybersecurity and digital transformation solutions. The presentations demonstrated students' ability to combine technical knowledge with creativity to respond to the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

At the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, 699 students completed their graduation project defences across 13 academic programmes. Many projects focused on mechanical design, manufacturing technologies, industrial automation, and automotive engineering, offering practical solutions to contemporary engineering challenges. The quality of the projects reflected the School's long-standing emphasis on experiential learning and close collaboration with industry, equipping graduates with the professional competencies required by the modern workforce.

At the School of Economics, students presented research projects and business proposals that responded to emerging trends in the digital economy and global business environment. The School of Foreign Languages and Tourism brought an international perspective to the graduation season. Creativity took centre stage at the Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design, where students unveiled graduation collections that combined contemporary aesthetics with technical expertise. Beyond artistic expression, the projects demonstrated a deep understanding of garment construction, material innovation, and fashion production, highlighting the balance between creativity and engineering that characterises the programme.

At the Faculty of Chemical Technology, graduation projects addressed a wide range of scientific and industrial challenges, from advanced materials and biotechnology to environmentally responsible chemical processes.
