HaUI - UHL promotes digital transformation toward building a smart-university

On April 21, a delegation of Ha Long University (UHL) led by Rector Nguyen Duc Tiep paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to discuss construction and operation according to the smart-university model.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Anh, Director of the Center for Quality Assurance, Hanoi University of Industry emphasized: Digital transformation is a management tool of an advanced higher education institution, a solution to the problem breakthrough in administrative reform. According to him, educational institutions need high determination, creating consensus throughout the system to change perception and thinking. This is critical to the success of digital transformation.
Hanoi University of Industry is taking steady steps and rapidly contributing to the achievement of digital transformation in education. Over the past 10 years, Hanoi University of Industry has strongly applied information technology in education and training. In particular, perfecting and applying e-university in comprehensive school administration, towards building a smart university. The university's e-university system was honored to receive 3 major awards: Vietnamese Talent in 2012, Sao Khue in 2016 and Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award (Vifotec) in 2018.

Specifically, the QMC_eUni® e-university has been implemented since 2011 and applied in 34 fields with 500 management activities. This model is updated on the school's social networking platform, mobile applications, and software services on the Cloud. QMC_eUni® intelligently handles planning problems, makes automatic timetables, and performs other utilities such as surveying students' opinions, answering students' opinions, and solving online one-stop requests. line.
The outstanding advantage of the e-university is the application of technology to support operations and administration to optimize processes; Standardize operations and interactions in the system; Resolve requests with multi-user environments; Process big data, initially processing unstructured data; Diverse utilities and functions for users; Full summary reports at all stages of the operational process as required by management; Deploying software rental services to reduce usage costs for customers.
