HaUI VEX-U ROBOTIC 2025: SMAE3 takes the crown and heads to National round in Thailand
Team SMAE3 has claimed top honors at the VEX-U ROBOTIC 2025 School-Level Competition thanks to their optimized programming tactics and precision. Achieving a decisive 193 points under the mentorship of Mr. Bui Huy Anh, they have successfully secured their spot to represent HaUI at the National Championship in Thailand in January 2026.

Mr. Hoang Manh Kha, Principal of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (HaUI), presents the First Prize to Team SMAE3 for their outstanding score of 193 points.
The VEX-U ROBOTIC 2025 competition was designed as a rigorous stress test of technical acumen. Six finalist teams faced a "pure coding" challenge: a strict two-hour live programming window with a prohibition on external assistive devices. This format ensured that the results reflected the students' authentic capabilities and ability to innovate under pressure.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh, Deputy Head of the Department of Science and Technology, underscored the competition's critical role in bridging the gap between academic training and international robotic standards. She highlighted that the high-pressure environment serves as a vital proving ground, compelling students to sharpen their design thinking, enhance team collaboration, and master complex problem-solving skills.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tu, Vice Principal of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (HaUI), presents the Third Prize to Team Smart3DX 3
The VEX Robotics ecosystem is rapidly expanding, with the VEX World Championship serving as the ultimate proving ground for future engineers. Against the backdrop of a vibrant national season that drew 156 teams, HaUI’s participation reflects its dedication to nurturing technical talent capable of competing at global standards.
