The School of Information and Communications Technology (SICT) was established as an evolution from the Faculty of Information Technology at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI). Its foundation marks a significant milestone in the university’s organizational restructuring, making it the fourth member school of HaUI, officially approved by Resolution No. 73/NQ-HĐT on December 16, 2024, by the HaUI University Council. This strategic move serves as a solid foundation, propelling HaUI towards its goal of becoming a leading industrial university with an advanced and internationally integrated training model.

The lecturers at SICT are dedicated and experienced educators who continuously contribute to education and research. Many are not only distinguished lecturers but also renowned experts in their fields, holding master’s and doctoral degrees from prestigious institutions both domestically and internationally. Notably, over 30 faculty members hold the ranks of Associate Professor and Doctor. With a strategic vision and deep understanding of global technological trends, they continuously update and innovate teaching methods, integrating theory with practical applications to meet the demands of the labor market in the digital era. These core strengths affirm SICT’s position as one of Vietnam’s premier ICT training institutions, fostering a modern, professional, and creative learning environment for the younger generation.
