From April 7 to 12, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong , Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) , led a delegation to participate in the Conference on Education–Industry Collaboration among Hunan, ASEAN, and Germany, held in Hunan Province, China.

After ten competition days in Thailand, HaUI’s students won a Silver medal, a Bronze medal and two Certificates of Excellence at the 12th ASEAN Skills Competition.

Contributing to the outstanding achievements of Vietnam Delegation at 11th Asean Skills Competition, the HaUI students have excellently won 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 Excellent Certificate.

In preparation for the coming 11th ASEAN Technical Skills Competition scheduled to take place from 19th - 29th in September, 2016 in Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia, two students from Hanoi University of Industry: Tran Dong Kien and Dang Thanh Diem are to participate in a technical skill training workshop in the headquarters of Yalong Science and Technology Group (based in Wenzhou city, Zhejiang province, China). The workshop is run by Yalong Group, and is made possible with the support of Bureau of Technical Training, Hanoi University of Industry’s Boards of Management and Faculty of Information Technology.

In the morning of September 15th, 2016, HAUI held a meeting between officials, teachers, and students attending 2016 ASEAN Skills Competition in Malaysia. Dr Pham Van Bong - HAUI Vice Rector - on behalf of HAUI board of management, had some advices to trainers and candidates before the event.

Inthe afternoon of June 24th, 2016 Hanoi University of Industry organized meetings and assigned coaching tasks for Asean 2016 and 2017 world skills contests.
