Kubiak Mateusz Wiktor and Nikityn Natalia Katarzyna, two students from Poland, have built an inspiring academic and personal journey at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), where they chose to spend some of the most important years of their lives.

On the morning of January 15, 2026, a delegation from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, paid a working visit and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Biel Crystal Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. at An Phat 1 Industrial Park, Hai Phong City.

On the morning of December 30, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized a training workshop entitled “Internal documentation and university governance in the context of HaUI’s institutional transformation.” The workshop aimed to enhance legal awareness and professional competencies among staff and employees, in response to the urgent requirements arising from HaUI’s transition to a university system model, which was officially approved by the Prime Minister in November 2025.

In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, scientific research has moved beyond the pursuit of academic indicators to become a central driver of human resource development and sustainable growth. At the roundtable discussion entitled “Developing Scientific Research in Universities as a Driver for Enhancing Educational Quality,” organized by Industry and Trade Magazine, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Trong Chuong, Head of the Science and Technology Department at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), outlined a comprehensive and practice-oriented roadmap for advancing research activities. His presentation highlighted the need to reform internal governance mechanisms in order to empower researchers, while progressively strengthening trust within the collaborative ecosystem connecting the State, universities, and enterprises.

On the morning of December 9th, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held an important working session with a delegation from Nanning Normal University (NNU), China. This event took place as HaUI strengthens its pivotal role as a key higher education institution designated to train human resources for advanced technology sectors, such as the semiconductor industry. The signing of the MOU between the two parties is not just a new milestone in academic diplomacy but also opens up a crucial strategic roadmap for collaborative training and in-depth research in AI, electronics, and new materials, aiming to develop high-quality human resources in the region.

On the afternoon of December 2, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), chaired a meeting with a delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology, China (GXUST). The meeting focused on reviewing and renewing existing joint training programs, while exploring opportunities to expand cooperation at higher levels of education, in close connection with scientific research activities and collaboration with enterprises.

From November 27 to 30, 2025, the 27th National Student Physics Olympiad was held at Eastern University of Technology, attracting 213 students from 43 universities nationwide. The competition comprised three categories: Physics Problem Solving, Physics Experiments, and Physics Multiple-Choice Tests.

On the morning of November 28, Dr. Nguyễn Văn Thiện, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), presided over the reception and meeting with a delegation from the Academy of Security Engineering and Technology, led by Major General Dr. Lê Minh Thảo, Director of the Academy.

Collaboration between higher education institutions and vocational education centers has become an inevitable trend to optimize resources and enhance the quality of the national workforce. In this context, on November 26, Hanoi University of Industry and College of Industrial Techniques officially signed a cooperation agreement on training activities and scientific and technological development.

In the context of global higher education undergoing fundamental shifts in roles and missions, on the morning of November 26, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized the seminar “Admissions, Education, Science & Technology, and Innovation for the 2035 horizon.”
